Alright, now this is an example of something inspired by too many video games: In the game Wet, the player character Rubi will at preset parts of the game go into "Rage Mode", which makes the graphics all stylized and solid black, white and red. I made four versions of these: two with different timing and two with different colour schemes. Sound effects from

Motion graphics thing I made in After Effects. Interestingly enough, I hadn't been playing a lot of Gears of War, but I do enjoy this novelty effect. Sound effects from, chainsaw image was the result of a Google image search.
Fume FX Car Bomb

This is something I have been working on for a while, and it went through a few changes in terms of execution. I tried to get it working in Afterburn, but had problems with smoke dissipation. I then switched to Fume FX, where it was starting to shape up. At one point, I was planning to have the car composited onto video footage, but matchmoving proved to be troublesome, so now it's back to the old Max plane. This is still an in-progress piece, but I am concentrating more on Unreal stuff for the time being. Camera shake courtesy of the Wiggler in After Effects!
